Journey of Sophia Europa
The Third International Conference of the Sophia Europa local societies initiative research project the third general theme of Culture, Technology and religion was organized on the college street campus of the Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) from 6 to 8th of May 2008. The keynote speakers of the conference were sociologist Professor Tom Inglis of University College Dublin; Biomedical Research Scientist Dr Gary McDarby, MD and founder of ICE; and theologian Professor Eamonn Conway of Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick. The Annual Conference Series 2005 – 2008 continued as a series of conferences which were already held in Limerick, Ireland (2006) and Krakow, Poland (2007) under the auspices of the Sophia Europa Research Project, funded by the Metanexus Institute.

I wish if I could I have got the chance to do video promotion for this very International Conference, it being my favorite theme but at that time I was going through my summer training and other activities that I had only got a chance to witness its recording on the television. It was really perfect!
